Series One: Post Four
As we step from the vessel of ignorance, the light of the world bathes us. Surrounded at once by those things that before we could not see, we step forth unto a new dawn. The rod no longer comforts and our innate shame rises from our being like the morning haze evaporating on a warm spring day.
The fear of our ancient mothers and fathers can only be imagined because in our hour of life, we can see only that which actually is. We fear not the shadows hiding in dark corners. We fear not the force of our passions. We fear not our eternal sin. Instead, we admire our circumstance. We stand in awe at the power of nature, and we embrace our kin as they are all around us.
We live now in a world that is undivided by circumstances of birth. We live now in a world that is undivided by an ancient trance. We live now in a world that was not created for us, but rather, we live now in a world with which we are a part.
As we step from the vessel of ignorance, we embrace ourselves and others because we understand that we are in this together.
